Kelsey

When we first met Kelsey and she shared the vision she had for her wedding day, we couldn't wait for her big day to come; so we could feature her on our blog. We were delighted and excited to be the bridal shop to dress her in one of our exclusively designed wedding dresses. Kelsey chose an all lace tea length dress featuring a custom designed sleeve and delicate crystal belt highlighting the natural waist.

Kelsey's wedding day was sweet and intimate. The couple celebrated with friends and family during a mid morning brunch. A Belgium waffle bar provided tasty treats for guests.

Their darling wedding cake was made by one of Kelsey's 9th grade students; can we say, "Wow!".

Kelsey & JD, thank you for sharing your beautiful day with us!
You have left us inspired and feeling the love!

Emily

We are obsessed with this charming groomal session by Kate Osborne Photography.
From her stunning dress to her sharply dressed groom, these photos will leave you speechless.

Our beautiful bride Emily is wearing an alencon lace Justin Alexander gown. A custom designed sleeve and neckline gives this dress the unique style that Emily hoped to find.
We love her glamorous updo and equally glam accessories to pull the look together.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful day with us! We wish you all the best!

Janessa

Nothing makes us happier than seeing one of our brides smiling from ear to ear and looking unbelievably beautiful in her wedding dress. Janessa's charming personality alone can stop anyone in their tracks, but seeing her in this stunning venetian lace slip dress, we are awe struck!

Janessa first came to The Brides' Shop in search for her dream dress, once she slipped into this Allure gown, she knew she had found it. Our talented alterations team designed a custom sleeve for Janessa and tailored the gown to fit her perfectly.

Take a look at the beautiful images provided by David Newkirk Photography.

Setting aside time before the wedding is a great idea to capture memorable images without the stress of being pulled away by friends or family. The photographer can get creative and connect with you one on one.

We love David Newkirk's ability to capture intimate and genuine moments as they are happening.
These are the moments that are fleeting and having the photographs to look back on is priceless.

Prioritizing time for photographs with friends and family is also important. We love this image of Janessa and her beautiful mom. We can see where Janessa gets her excellent sense of style!

A photographer that takes the time to capture all the details of your wedding day is definitely worth their weight in gold. These little touches are what made your day unique and deserve to be noticed!

Congratulations Janessa and Andrew! You are a beautiful couple and we wish you a beautiful life!

Downtown Manhattan; Justin Alexander Bridal Show

The Brides' Shop buyers just returned from Manhattan; we were invited for a private showing of the 2014 Justin Alexander Collection. After experiencing such a magnificent city, it is hard to know where to start, the fashion or the architecture. The entire city thrives on creative energy; everywhere you look, inspiration has materialized. The same can be said for the current Justin Alexander line. We won't give too much away, but promise to share the gorgeous gowns we picked up in a future post.

Buyer, Amanda Ivory standing with Justin of Justin Alexander. The name behind the company, Justin is focusing on the future of bridal and how to best serve the brides that wear his label.

We were just steps away from Times Square and the fabulous shopping that New York has to offer! We enjoyed the sites, but we came to Manhattan on a mission, to find the most gorgeous gowns for our brides.

The designer gave us the grand tour of Manhattan. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner and view from the Hudson River. The cityscape of Manhattan is quite different than our beloved Salt Lake City.

Justin Alexander has many wonderful people standing behind the business.
Ashley; Customer Service, Terri; Designer, and Angelia; Social Media.

Tony; Designer. Jose; Designer.

We may have returned back to Salt Lake City, but the influence of Manhattan will surely be reflected in our boutique. We can't wait to show you the gowns we brought back with us. Stay tuned!
