Ellen

I was beyond excited when I picked up the phone and heard Ellen's voice on the other end. It's been about a year since she got married, but she didn't forget about us. Between all the wedding planning and moving to Boston she finally got a minute to email me over some pictures. I'm so glad she did. This wedding is fun and elegant all wrapped into one! I also wanted to share what Ellen had to say about their wedding day!

"Our wedding was an absolute dream come true. It was so fun going wedding dress shopping with my mom at the Bride's shop. The staff was so friendly and helpful and they gave us all the special attention that a bride deserves. I had a hard time deciding on the dress, because there were several options I loved. When I finally chose, it was so fun re-designing the top half with Oksana. She did a phenomenal job on the alterations.

My friend designed a custom vest and bow tie for our English bulldog Winston. The handmade touches at our wedding made it all our own; the custom bridemaid's skirts made from silk taffeta, the bow ties for all of our nephews created by my mother in law, the custom vest for our dog, all the plastic lanterns that my siblings slaved away making weeks before the wedding, and our invitations that were letter pressed. The modern, geometric, plastic lanterns that I brought back from Thailand, strung across the outside patio at Market Street Grill Cottonwood, were my favorite touch at our reception.

Our exit on rollerblades at the end of the night was another very memorable moment. Our photographer Heather, is an extremely talented and down to earth person.  We quickly felt close to her and felt the trust that should be present for such an important event.  She was so great to work with. We love and treasure all of our photos. I would highly recommend all of the vendors that we used."
Congrats to the both of you! Such a great couple and how cute is that dog???
