Our Bride Brimley

With all of this warm weather, we thought that we would give you
another dreamy warm winter wedding.

This is our Bride Brimley and we know that you will
love her gown as much as we do.

And her Arizona wedding was to die for.

Our favorite part of her gown is probably her lace scalloped neckline.

But then we love her sequined belt too!

Or maybe it's the soft chiffon skirt.

Maybe our favorite part is that we got to help her create this beautiful look for
her special day.

Everything was captured perfectly by

Congrats Brimley!

Thanks for letting us be a part of your day.

Our Bride Laura

Let's talk about a dreamy Wedding location, shall we?

Our beautiful Bride, Laura was married in Newport Beach California
in December.

You read us right.

This is a December Wedding.

We told you it was dreamy.

Laura is one of those Brides who loves a classic look, but also
brings in key pieces that gives her look a modern twist.

She wore a chiffon ball gown, perfect for that soft beachy feel, with a lace
Queen Anne jacket.

But it's her turquoise and gold earrings that took her
look to the next level.

Our favorite jewelry for Brides is anything turquoise.

There is just something about that blue against an ivory
gown that is just breathtaking.

And what makes anything better?

A bow, of course.

Don't even get us started on her bouquet.
It was incredible.

Congrats Laura!

You make a beautiful Bride.

Our Bride Anna

This is Anna and lets just start out by saying that we
love her.

Anna is not only one of the sweetest people you will ever meet,
but she worked for our company as a Bridal Consultant and it's always
fun to help one of our own girls on their wedding day.

Our Bridal Consultants are always so creative and on top of what's new in
Bridal Fashion and Anna was one of our best.

We were so excited to see what she would decide to wear on her special day
and she did not disappoint!

Her wedding was so beautiful that it was featured on The Wedding Chicks Blog
and we couldn't forgive ourselves if we didn't share it with
you.

Anna chose a beautiful raw silk gown with a flat bow belt at her waist (very Audrey Hepburn) and a lace piece that was made to go over it all.

The funnest part of the gown what the High/ Low element of the skirt.
It showed off her fun personality perfectly.

And don't even get us started on her Bridesmaids dresses!

Don't we all wish that we could have worn these gowns when we were
Bridesmaids?

They were perfect!

What makes their wedding even more perfect, you ask?

Anna and her husband are High School sweethearts!

Awwwww...
We miss you Anna, but we know that you're on to bigger and better things.

Oh!

How could we forget to tell you that these beautiful photos were taken by

And what's better than photos?

A video!

Here is a beautiful video of their wedding put together by

Enjoy!

How Do You Get Your Gown Safely To Your Destination Wedding?

Well, we'll tell you.

Over the years, Destination Weddings have surged in popularity.

source
We would say about 4 out of every 10 brides we work with are getting married somewhere other than their hometown.

A question that we are constantly asked is
"How do I safely get my dress to my destination?"

Here is how.

First off NEVER and we mean NEVER pack your gown in your checked luggage.

Have you flown Delta lately?

Pretty sure they lose one of our bags every time we fly with them.

See. This kid flew on Delta.

We have heard of Brides getting their luggage lost and resorting to buying the first white dress they saw when they got to their location.

You want to take your dress as your carry on and don't get pressured into buying a special piece of luggage for you dress.  Just make sure that you have a breathable cotton-like garment bag to put your dress in.

Don't get the plastic ones.  They tear easily and always give the gowns a funky smell.

Secondly, don't let the dress out of your sight.

Now brides, don't go too overboard on this, but just make sure that you know where it is at all times.

If you stop by and grab a greasy, disgustingly delicious mess we like to refer to as a "Cinnabon", give yourself a high five and put the dress on a chair next to you until you are finished devouring it.  Don't leave it with your mom or FiancĂ© to look after it.

Third, as you board the plane inform the flight attendant that you have your wedding gown and ask where you should put it.  The key here is to be kind.  If you're not, it's going in the overhead bin.  If you are, they will hang in their little closet that they have for the flight attendants and pilots.

Really American Airlines?

Remember Brides, you get more flies with honey than vinegar.

 That's it.

Not too hard is it?

All you have to do is keep your seat backs and tray tables up until take off and you are ready to go.

 Oh.

And does anyone else think it's kinda funny to have a life vest under your seat in case of a water evacuation?  We mean, unless you're flying with Captain Sully, we don't think you will be needing it.

And don't even get us started with using the seat cushion for a flotation device.

We think we'll pass.

Gross.
