Charity

We have been anxiously awaiting our bride Charity's wedding so we could feature her on our blog!
Charity is a modern bride who wanted a timeless bridal style. She found a stunning, organza gown that fit her figure perfectly! We adore the classic bridal accessories she chose to complete her look.
Her wedding was held at The Grand America and was the true definition of grand!

 Congratulations Charity and Kellen!

Regan.. Bridals

Regan is a bride that emulates sophistication and poise. The moment she tried on this exclusively designed dress, she knew she had found the one!

The Brides' Shop team set out to design a gown that was vintage inspired but appealed to a modern              and fashion forward bride. Featuring a pearl peter pan collar, pearl lined sleeves, a fun vintage print                                         lace, and sleek silhouette; this gown makes a lasting impression.

Her bouquet is romantic and fresh, pulling from a soft, natural color palette.

The fit and flare silhouette is extremely flattering. Pulled in at the waist by a champagne charmeuse sash.

We love that Regan went with a simple natural hairstyle. Soft waves pulled loosely back bring a feminine loveliness to her overall look.

Stay tuned for Regan's wedding feature!

Abigail by Intuzuri

In honor of our upcoming Intuzuri Trunk Show, we are proud to feature this stunning gown. Abigail is for the bride that wants to make a fashion forward statement on her wedding day. This gorgeously ruched gown is not only extremely flattering, but the bold textured skirt is fun, while remaining elegant.
We love the flattering drop waist silhouette, the natural waist highlighted with intricately beaded flowers, and the textured a-line skirt hits at just the right spot; creating drama without creating bulk.
For the bride who wants to modify this gown to include a sleeve, she has found a great dress to do so. The ruched bodice allows for the sleeve to blend seamlessly.
To try this gown on, schedule your appointment for our upcoming Intuzuri Trunk Show, May 4th-May 11th. If you schedule and purchase your gown on opening day, you will receive 20% off your gown!

A Few Tips From The Experts

It is safe to say that every girl wants to be breathtaking on her wedding day. Even with all the beautiful details that have taken time and inspiration to plan, all eyes will ultimately land upon the beaming bride in her dress. Until the dress has been found however, this may seem like an overwhelming thought. Here at The Brides' Shop, we are ready to help you find the dress of your dreams. With trained and knowledgeable consultants, our goal is to make your shopping experience fun, exciting, and memorable. By taking note of the following guidelines, your shopping experience will be even more successful and stress free.

*Call in advance and set an appointment. Many bridal shops are happy to accept walk ins, but an appointment ensures one on one attention for the bride.

*Limit 2-3 friends or family to come along. The more opinions you have, the harder it is to please. You must remember that everyone has a different vision of the bride, the most important vision is yours.

*Begin your search at least 6 months before the wedding. Dresses are custom made by hand and take 4-5    months to be shipped. If alterations are needed, it is best to plan for more time. If the engagement is short, be  prepared to find a dress quickly. If lucky enough to find your dream dress in stock, you have to act quick, or risk the dress being sold to another willing bride.

*Be honest and open with your consultant. Their job is to help you find a dress you will love without the pressure of going over budget. Decide on a price range that you will feel comfortable staying within.

*Be open minded. It is always great to have a general idea of the dress you are searching for, however, a dress cannot be judged by the hanger. Some of the most beautiful gowns need to be showcased on a body.

*Consider alterations. Cost of alterations will vary depending on the nature of the work needed. At The Brides' Shop we offer exclusive in house alterations, allowing the bride to express her creativity and personal  touches to her gown.

*Don't stress. The most important factor in purchasing your wedding gown is to feel excited and beautiful when you are wearing it. There are thousands of beautiful gowns, your job is to find one that makes you feel incredible. If the shape is flattering, the fabric appealing, the color compliments your skin tone, and your smile cannot be wiped from your face... You have found your dress!

*Once the dress has been found, don't try on another wedding dress. Stop looking, embrace your decision, and move onto the next step of planning your wedding.

The most important advice of all is to have fun! This is an exciting moment in your life and should be treasured. The consultants at The Brides' Shop understand this and hope to make your shopping experience a memorable one.

Neda

Neda made a beautiful bride as she walked down the isle this past September. Her stunning crinkle chiffon gown featuring ruching and pick ups had to be custom sized to fit her petite frame.Would you ever believe this dress was a size 14 and fitted down to a size 2? With the assurance from our extremely talented tailors, Neda put her trust in them; now we get to enjoy the immaculate results.
Ron and Neda's Snowbird wedding is truly a vision of elegance and sophistication. They chose wisely when they decided on Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen Photography to capture their special day.

We are so happy for you Neda and Ron. Thank you for letting The Brides' Shop be a part of such a beautiful day.
