Secret Garden Editorial Shoot

We've posted a couple of these photos on our social media,

but we think it's about time to tell you

about it on the blog.

We were asked to be a part of this shoot that can be seen in

the latest edition of Salt Lake/Park City Bride and Groom magazine

and when we heard that Britt Chudleigh would be taking the photos,

how could we say no?

The way she photographed our gowns was incredible.

From the hair, to the flowers and our gowns, everything turned out

perfect.

When deciding on a color scheme for your wedding, just take a walk through a garden. By using a color palette found in nature, you won't be stuck matching everything in the same shade of pink. Decide on a color scheme that works in a range of tones of your favorite color. Talk with a professional about combining other complimentary shades to make your favorite color pop. There is no better professional to talk to about your color scheme than with your florist.

Abigail by Intuzuri

Rachel

The Brides' Shop loves a trendsetting bride. When Rachel chose a raw silk Angelina Faccenda gown featuring a textured trumpet skirt and ruched bodice, we knew her wedding would be full of character. From the color scheme to the lovely garden concept, this wedding is full of unique details.

We absolutely adore her bridal bouquet with fun pops of color.

Thanks to Julie's Custom Toppers; the couple have this one of a kind cake topper.

Allison came to The Brides' Shop in search of her dream dress. Her mom flew in from out of state for the occasion. Our goal was to make it a memorable experience for the whole family. When Allison tried on this beautiful Enzoani gown in a soft alabaster color, her face lit up. The gown was originally strapless, but with the help of our in house alterations, Allison left with a custom made sleeve that fit beautifully.

Bridal Hair

Once you have found your dress, the fun really begins. Choosing accessories and deciding on your hair style is a vital part to your wedding day look. If you are a girl who wears her hair down on most days, you may feel more comfortable wearing your hair down on your wedding day; or you may love the formality of an updo. Keep the style of your gown in mind, a simple gown can allow for a more elaborate hairstyle with lovely eye catching accessories. A gown with more intricate design might be balanced with a simple chignon. At the end of the day, wear your hair the way you love. Don't follow the trends, just love the way you look.

This fashion forward updo is daring and fun. I love the great ribbon hair accessory in neutral tones. By keeping your makeup in neutral tones, the look feels elegant.

For the ladies with short hair, a natural wavy curl and delicate tiara will go a long way.

 A clean and classic chignon is a great choice. Especially for a bride that wants to highlight her jewelry.

Adorning a gorgeous updo with a hair comb will help secure the updo and accent the style.

For the bride who chooses not to wear a traditional veil on her wedding day, a birdcage veil is a great alternative. This look can be edgy, romantic, vintage, or classic; the right accessories will define the look.

 A natural wavy style is beautiful for a garden setting. Depending on the hair accessory, you can change this look to fit your personal style.

I love vintage glamour, so naturally I would be drawn to this gorgeous look. I love the dramatic part in her hair and gorgeous curls. This feels just as formal as an updo.
