Our Giveaway Of The Year, Going Out With A Bang!

To say goodbye to 2015, our Shop's 50th Anniversary, we are going to be

giving away a gorgeous wedding gown to one lucky Bride!

This incredible gown retails in our Shop for $1,100. 

It is an Oyster color that is made of a tumbled satin, which has a soft, super smooth matte finish.

The shape of this gown flatters any body type and the natural waistline boasts 

the smallest part of your waist. The simple ruching of the bodice can easily be extended into sleeves for that Bride who wants more coverage and we have extra fabric that can be purchased and amazing Seamstresses that can do that for you!

 This gown we are giving away is a size 12, which is a street size 10, but can be taken down to a smaller size by our Seamstresses.

Fabric, accessories and alterations are not part of the Giveaway and have to be purchased.

And how can we forget to tell you about the satin buttons down the back?

The reason we love this gown so much is because it's really a blank canvas. It's so elegantly simple that Brides can really customize it to make it their own.

If you are watching us closely for our Year of Giveaways, you may

have noticed that we didn't do a Giveaway in April.

To make up for it, we are going to have two winners this time.

Now.

Onto the Giveaway.

So, you know that time at every Wedding Celebration where the Groom removes 

a piece of the Bride's lingerie in front of everyone and throws

it at all of his male friends?

Ya know, the good ol' Garter Toss?

Ever wonder why we do it?

Well, according to wedalert.com:

"The garter tradition originated back to the 14th century. In parts of Europe the guests of the bride and groom believed having a piece of the bride’s clothing was thought to bring good luck. They would actually destroy the brides dress by ripping off pieces of fabric. Obviously, this tradition did not sit well with the bride, so she began throwing various items to the guests – the garter being one of them. It became customary for the bride to toss the garter to the men. But this also caused a great problem for the bride….sometimes the men would get drunk, become impatient and try to remove the garter ahead of time. Therefore, the custom derived at having the groom remove and toss the garter to the men."

about the change that was made.

Our Bride Megan truly proves that when it comes

The Results Are In...

Our Intuzuri Trunk Show has been a great success! The UK based designer sent us 30 gorgeous gowns and we have had the best time showing them off. From our phenomenal fashion shoot with Elizabeth Taylor Frandsen to being featured on Utah Bride & Groom, Salt Lake Park City Bride & Groom, and Bride Access to our much awaited for Intuzuri Giveaway.

We had so many girls participate to earn entries, and the results are in. But before we reveal the winner, check out a few highlights from the show..
