Martusha was one of our many out of state brides who was looking for a unique gown with sleeves. She fell in love with the Medina by Pronovias that I posted below.
After the wedding Martusha sent me this email. "...I LOVED IT! Seriously! She did great with the alterations, especially considering she had to take it in from a size 12! Just to let you know, she took it in from a size 12 to a 4/6, she hemmed it, brought up the vneck a little higher, added sleeves, built up in the back too, and put in a bustle." Martusha looked beautiful in her elegant Pronovias gown. Don't take my word for it, take a look for yourself.
Thanks for the photos Martusha! The dress turned out amazing and your wedding looked lovely.

The Right Way To Do A Headpiece
Let me start this post by saying, I am all about a beautiful veil! I think every bride should have one for a couple of reasons. First, it's the one and only time you get to wear one, and it really makes you look like a bride. I understand the inconvenience of a veil, so if for nothing else get it for a couple of pictures. I will be sure to do a later post on our veils but this post is all about headpieces. Headpieces are a good alternate or something fun to wear to the reception. There are so many options and it really lets a bride tie her own personality and style into the wedding. Here are a few of the pieces we carry:

Our First Featured Bride!
I felt so lucky to get to work with the beautiful dancer and bride, Macall Brady. Macall and her group were constantly making me laugh and were so fun to have in the shop. Macall didn't want the traditional wedding gown, but something a little more casual and fun to fit her personality. She fell in love with a short, strapless Jim Hjelm gown but needed to put sleeves on it. Our seamstress Oksana did a wonderful job and her dress turned out exceptional. Thank you Macall!
This is the gown before sleeves were added. Sorry I could only find it in orange!
